Ever wondered if your experience and educational background were validated once, so the same checks would not have to be performed over and over again? National Skills Registery is an initiative from NASSCOM which attempts to do just that.
The process is quite simple. You fill up your information online and provide your thumbprint and photograph to the authorized collection agency. Your details are then maintained securely at a nominal amount payable yearly. When you approach any company for employment, the company requests this information to be validated (if not validated already) by agencies authorized by NSR. This saves a lot of time and effort on the company’s and employee’s behalf.
Most of the top Indian IT companies have already tied up with this initiative. They are now planning to make NSR registration mandatory for new employees. So, hurry up before its too late and sign up!.
